Gluten Free Bread

This bread recipe has been refined to suit my tastes.  It is delicious when freshly baked and then stored in the fridge wrapped in a tea towel or sliced into the freezer.

Ingredients:

500g warm water
115g warm milk
1 T soft brown sugar
1.5 tsp active dried yeast
550g GF bread and pastry flour
1 tsp guar gum
4 T LSA (ground linseed, sunflower and almond)
1 egg
3 T oil

Method:

1. Mix water, milk, brown sugar and yeast in small bowl and leave to ferment.
2. Measure and sift together flour and guar gum.
3. Stir in the LSA. Drizzle oil over top. Add egg.
4. Mix together, adding in yeast mix.
5. Scrape into bread machine bucket.
Cook on ‘rapid’ programme with a medium crust.

Onion, sundried tomato, dried basil
Dried fruit and spice
